Welcome! We are a “come as you are” congregation. If you are visiting us for the first time you will see people from all walks of life, yet we share all things in common. You will not be put on the spot, however you will be welcomed by our members. Feel free to participate in the worship to the degree you are comfortable, or simply watch and listen and get to know us through the songs we sing and the truths we share. We serve Communion each Sunday and all present are invited to eat the Lord’s Supper with us if they desire. If you ever have any questions about any of our practices or beliefs or any other question of a spiritual nature please call us or send an e-mail.
Churches of Christ are independent congregations tied together by our love for Christ and His Word. While we have many things in common from one community to another, we also have much diversity because of our practice of local church autonomy. For this very reason the churches of Christ have been very reluctant historically to publish a formal creed or collection of uniform doctrinal beliefs. Ephesians 4:3-5 state as clearly as any other passage of Scripture what we have in common with the vast majority of others who profess faith in Christ: “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Our sincere aim is to practice this peaceful unity with all who are coming to know the Father through His Son Jesus Christ according to the teachings revealed in Scripture.
About Us The Woodland Hills Church of Christ is a non-denominational body of believers based on faith, hope and love. We exist to glorify God and share His love with the world. We are a diverse congregation within a very diverse community. We often refer to ourselves as, “One Church With Two Languages,” as we have both English and Spanish worship assemblies every Sunday. You will find us a very welcoming and warm fellowship.
